How to choose the right lighting
Settle brightness, colour and rating before you buy.
Lighting buying guide
Start with the room, not the product. Measure the floor, note the ceiling type and decide what the room is used for. Then settle four things.
- Brightness. Count lumens, not watts. A desk needs about 300 to 500 lux, a living room needs far less.
- Colour. 3000K is warm and suits bedrooms and restaurants. 4000K is neutral. 6500K is cool daylight for offices and kitchens.
- Rating. IP65 where rain reaches the fitting, IP54 for splashes, a plain fitting for dry indoor rooms.
- Fitting type. Recessed downlights and panels need a false ceiling. On a plain ceiling use a surface panel or a batten.

Are the products genuine and is there a warranty?
Every fitting comes from the brand named on it. The manufacturer’s warranty applies, and the period is printed on the product or its listing. Keep your invoice for any claim.
Can you help me choose the right light?
Yes. Tell us the room size, the ceiling type and what the room is used for, and we will suggest the fitting, wattage and colour.
Do you deliver, and who fits the lights?
We deliver across India, and delivery time depends on your location and stock. Fitting is done by your own electrician. We can tell you the cut-out size and the wiring the fitting needs.
